KOLKATA: A day after aspiring mannequin Amrita Singh was arrested all through the New Alipore cocaine case for allegedly arranging cocaine for accused BJP chief Rakesh Singh, the detective division arrested two males — Farhan Ahmed (26) and Diem Akhtar (25) — for allegedly supplying the narcotic to Amrita. “The two are residents of Harshi Street and Harshi Lane in the Rajabazar area. After they arranged cocaine for Amrita, she supplied it to Rakesh Singh,” talked about joint CP (crime) Murlidhar Sharma.
Police sources talked about that Daiem launched cocaine to Kolkata. He then supplied it to Farhan, from whom Amrita bought it. “We have now established the drug route. We have also recovered 10 gm of cocaine from Akhtar,” talked about Sharma.
